As I’ve mentioned several times in this blog, I don’t usually get acne anymore after I got past my puberty period. I would only get the occasional pimple or two around the beginning of my monthlies, or when my skin would react negatively to some cosmetic product I used. Lucky, I know, and I’m definitely thankful for it. Still, it would be nice if I had clear skin all the time especially when I have important events I need to attend.
Luckily I discovered just how effective the Celeteque Acne Solutions products are, just at the time I got a big stubborn pimple a few days ago. I got these three products in the early bird prize I got from the Celeteque Loyalty Card Launch event. Let me tell you about each one.

First is the Acne Spot Corrector Gel. This tiny 5ml wonder tube contains PHA and BHA that work on reducing pimples and other acne imperfections. This is the first product I tried, and I would apply this after cleansing to the tiny pimples that appear on my face. This is pretty effective against small sized acne, and works pretty fast too. You only really need a tiny amount to apply directly on the acne, so this tube goes a long way. It costs Php169 and is available in most supermarkets and drugstores.

Next we have the Acne Cleansing Gel. It has salicylic acid to help remove dead skin cells and dirt. This is the second product I turned to, when I started getting bigger pimples that the spot corrector gel couldn’t handle alone. I used this to cleanse my face at night, before applying the spot corrector gel. This dual-product combo is usually enough to remove slightly bigger acne. This 50ml tube costs Php270.

Lastly, we have the Acne Clearing Facial Moisturizer Gel. In addition to salicylic acid (which unclogs pores like the cleansing gel), it also has Acnacidol BG which reduces oil secretion and prevents the growth of acne-causing bacteria. It also has french spring water to aid in the moisturization of the face. I was forced to add this product to my acne-fighting regimen when I developed the most stubborn pimple. I only used this at night (in place of my usual Restorative Firming Overnight Cream) after cleansing but before the spot corrector gel. This trio of products are an amazing combination that was able to finally overcome my recent acne problems. This 50ml tube costs Php335.
Check out this trio in action. This is how my cheek pimple looked like. This is one of the most stubborn of acne I had, and two days of the spot corrector gel alone couldn’t handle it. I had already stopped using face bases (primer, bb cream, foundation) here.
